This is a case of worlds colliding. When the marketing team at John Fluevog Shoes offered me the opportunity to star in & style myself in the Fall/Winter 2024 installment of the Fluevog post I leapt at the chance.
To be recognised my my employer for my styling ability really meant a lot to me. It is another side of my creativity, that as an actor I don’t typically get the opportunity to showcase.
Check out my most recent commercial work for Xolair. A US national pharmaceutical commercial, for allergy sufferers.
This was such a special project to bring to life. Adam Mah besides being a great musician is a great friend of ours, so for Isaac and myself to collaborate with him and the folks at Odd House Pictures to bring his vision to life for Quiet Nights was an honour and a blast.
Our Cat Pan too had an exceptional time on set, and was pampered by all the crew.

I played a small part in this latest campaign for e-commerce payment platform Adyen. It was such a pleasure working with notable director Jake Scott, and the whole crew.
I had such a blast playing supporting character Abigail Green for this made for this Rom-Com produced by Reel One Entertainment. So fun to get stuck into a comedic role for a change! Here is a snippet of my scene from the trailer. . .
This has been a long long time in the works but I can finally share my Voice Over work as Goggles in the latest instalment in the Borderlands gaming franchise’s “New Tales from the Borderlands”.
It was really exciting to step into the booth and be involved in such a well known world within gaming circles, and to work on my sassy AI voice.
Acting is now officially a family affair! Pan our furry companion was heavily featured alongside Isaac & myself in the Hill’s Science Diet “Science did That” pet food campaign. As you can probably imagine we are super proud of his achievements. It was his first time on set & he did in fact do all his own stunts.
In the spring, I was invited to join The Arts Club Intensive Actor training program. The program was designed to give working actors at various stages of their professional careers a refresher, work-out space to exercise their craft with a selection of Vancouver’s finest theatrical actors and instructors.
The course ran for five weeks with over seventy five hours of training including classes in movement, voice and speech, scene study and improvisation, culminating in an industry showcase of scenes and monologues.
I had a blast, and Ireally appreciated the sense of connection with the acting community it gave me considering I moved to Vancouver during a pandemic.

Back in November 2020 I had the pleasure of shooting a co-star role on NBC’s show Debris S1. I played the aide to the head of MI6. Playing a “spook” as we Brits call them felt like a big tick on the actor bucket list.
Unfortunately the scene was cut for time when the series aired but I had a fabulous time on set.
Here is the trailer for the show:

From the 17th till 19th of October 2019, I had the honour of playing Sylvia in Marivaux’s 1723 play Changes of Heart,at the Blevis Laboratory Theatre at The University of Alberta, in Edmonton.
I had such a wonderful time working with such a fabulous Cast and particularly director Amy De Felice on such a knotty, hilariously absurd, romantic romp of a play.
Exciting news! Youth in Bed has been shortlisted in the “Live Action Short” category at the BAFTA Student Film Awards. Well done and a huge congratulations to director Edward Zorab, producer Mollie Cayzer Colvin, and the whole of the team

I’m ecstatic to announce that Youth In Bed a short film I worked on is due to be released on 8th April 2019.
Written and Directed by Edward Zorab and produced by Mollie Cayzer-Colvin, Youth in Bed follows three interconnecting stories of love, youth and pain spanning from 1979 to 2002 that remarkably all take place in the same bed. As the search for meaning is shared across generations, we see the same patterns emerge time and time again in our seemingly chaotic universe.
This film is hauntingly gorgeous and I cannot wait to share it with you all.
I am excited to announce my latest swashbuckling adventure, I shall be playing a host of morally questionable characters in a brand new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Treasure Island.
Directed by Rob Cann, and penned by Dominic Male, This production has promise to be a funny, romp suitable for all ages four and up. So lets set sail this February half-term, adventure lies just over the horizon. . . yo ho ho

Over the Easter weekend I had the pleasure of shooting short film Real Doll, in which I play Nadia, written/directed by Will Hewitt and Produced by Sam White.
David is a director in the process of writing a personal play which he views as his magnum opus. After making the decision to write himself a role in his upcoming play, we see him slowly spiral into obsession as he treats the lead actress Nadia with dismay, only focusing on her when she is playing the role of Ellen. She soon becomes completely alienated from her self-absorbed director, pushed to her limits to recreate this dream character of David’s.
When interviewed by Digital Filmmaker Magazine Producer Sam and Director Will said of role:
". . .this film needs to be seen today due to its relevance to the current scandals being uncovered in the entertainment industry, particularly the voices now being heard through the Me Too and Times Up movements online. Nadia helps show us what hurt can be caused when an artist or director takes their power too far and acts inappropriately towards their actors." It is also their intention inspire their audience with Nadia coming out victorious whilst David is ostracised and not given acclaim for his unorthodox methods, like so many directors are.
"Both the lead actors were also fantastic to work with creatively. They were never afraid to bring their own ideas to the table. Some of the scenes would often change the more we ran through them, which I loved as it felt we were completely understanding of the characters thoughts and didn't need to rely solely on written dialogue to bring their layered personalities to life."
I had such a fabulous time on set for this project with all the dedicated crew, and my fellow actor Alex Francis who played David.
TIMES IS UP and collaborating with such talented, gracious, compassionate creatives only reiterates this.
Real Doll is currently in post production and is due to be completed at the end of May and Sam and Will plan to submit it to various film festivals.

Exciting news from Elegy from the international film festival circuit. Elegy has won no less than four awards, and has made the official selection for festivals as far afield as Russia and Venice.
Nitehawk shorts festival in NY awarded director Chad Gardella with the Panavision grant and granted him $7,500 for his next film. Somerville International film festival in Boston named Elegy Best Undergound Film. Shorts on Tap in London, gave us multiple encore screenings and selected us as one of the Best of Shorts on Tap for 2017. Portland Horror Film Festival awarded Elegy with the Bloody Judge Award - They asked Guest Judge Richard Stanley (Director of Hardware, Dust Devil) to weigh in and choose his favorite film. I think the one that rises to the top of the pack must be ‘ELEGY’ …with its artsy Terence Malick style introspection. With intense and gorgeous close-up nature photography, lyrical transitions, and sound design, “Elegy” is an extremely accomplished experimental film. Gardella deftly weaves images together, creating an emotional and existential catharsis.
Here are some the gorgeous, eerie posters for the festival screenings.
Holiday season seems like an apt time to announce that modeling work from my shoot with photographer and author Demetrius Fordham can be found in his new book "If you're bored of your Camera read this book"
The book can be purchased from Amazon and other leading booksellers across the US and the UK, and Its really does make for a great read! (although I may be a little Biased)
